Fronting The Highway between Chigwell Hill and Wapping Lane in East London, the new hotel will provide a destination bar, restaurant and cafe opening out to a new piazza which will promote use and activity by the wider public.  An adjoining apart-hotel will be located alongside Wapping Lane. The design makes careful consideration in terms of sensitively responding to the surrounding context and features an atrium providing a visual link from the dock entrance across the piazza to St Georges Church. In keeping with the history of the site, the interior design references the Dock buildings original use as a warehouse distributing tobacco, wines, wool, and animal skins, in a contemporary style.
